BRAND JOURNEY

Mammoth

During the next phase of our brand journey, Mammoth was developed in close collaboration with the CEO, creative director, and marketing manager at HR AnswerLink.

The objective of Mammoth was to expand our services in a business-to-business (B2B) capacity and establish ourselves as a key player in the industry, catering to a wider range of clients and attracting the best talent.

During this transformative period, our creative marketing team, visionary leadership, and talented individuals from different domains collaborated extensively. Together, we explored innovative ideas, leveraged collective expertise, and forged new pathways for success. The dynamic exchange of perspectives and the synergy that emerged from this collaboration laid the foundation for groundbreaking initiatives.

As part of this initiative, I took on various responsibilities such as branding, digital advertising, crafting landing pages, creating marketing collateral, designing trade show displays, producing blog illustrations and photography, and coordinating promotional swag. These elements visually tell the story as a crucial part of the brand's journey.

Refining the brand

Selected pages from the Mammoth brand and style guide

Having been part of creating Mammoth's brand and style guide, I was assigned by our creative director to revamp it to mirror the new direction taken by our in-house creative team. The guide showcased our updated messaging, icons, and illustrations. Collaborating closely with the creative director, I developed usage guidelines for the updated design elements and spearheaded the design and production of the guide.

PROJECT

Redefining “employee handbook”

Selected spreads from the Mammoth team guide

The creative team was invited by the internal HR department to collaborate on crafting a visually captivating company guide that embodies the organization's unique culture. Taking charge of what initially seemed a simple task, I led the way in turning it into a forward-thinking initiative, resulting in a high-quality team guide. This guide was presented during the onboarding of new Mammoth employees, professionally printed, and prominently showcased on the Mammoth coffee table.

The Rose Quarter and the Portland Trailblazers were direct clients of Mammoth. Throughout our collaboration, the creative and marketing teams were tasked with crafting a unique identity for tailored and repurposed content to share with the client. Following the success of the Mammoth team guide, we proposed the idea to The Rose Quarter and the Portland Trailblazers. They were impressed and enthusiastic about having their own team guide. Collaborating closely with their HR advisor and aligning with their brand guidelines, I spearheaded the development of the team guide.

Supporting landing page and social media ads

In 2019, Mammoth conducted its inaugural State of HR survey. Collaborating with the creative director and marketing manager, I developed video and static ads to boost survey awareness on LinkedIn and Twitter. The survey yielded valuable data, which was distilled into an executive summary report shared with Mammoth's audiences.

PROJECT

Reimagining the Mammoth PDX office

Large scale display graphics spanning from 2018 - 2019

During our time at our second office in Portland, Oregon, we had valuable opportunities to showcase the Mammoth brand. Our taglines were "Better HR together" and "Collaborative HR," leading to the creation of impactful large-scale graphics. Collaborating with our People and Talent team and our vendor, S2 Graphics, I designed various graphics, including the "Better HR together" tagline with hand-drawn lettering inspired by street art. This artistic addition brightened up an office hallway near the elevators.
